Rapid Response Squad (RRS) don arrest street boys wey dey harrass motorists for different Lagos areas. According to dia statement for X, on 9th October 2025, RRS do sting operation for three major spots, Old Toll Gate/Motorways (Ketu), Adeniji Adele (Third Mainland Bridge), and Ile Epo, and catch some bad boys wey dey disturb motorists with broken-down cars. Among dem, three suspects be ex-convicts: Kayode Sulaiman (30), Basiru Saheed (33), and Ekene Ifeanyi (20). On 11th October for Ile Epo, dem catch Alabi Wasiu, one key suspect, and di buyer of one stolen Samsung phone. Later, dem arrest Mustapha Alabi, alias Alabi Yellow, wey confess to plenty tins. RRS commander, CSP Shola Jejeloye, vow say dem go continue crackdown for street boys wey dey cause wahala for Ile Epo and other Lagos hotspots.

Meanwhile, for Ikeja, RRS recover plenty electronic gadgets wey thieves drop for fear when dem see police near Allen Roundabout. Di gadgets include 32 iPhones, 38 other smartphones like Samsung and Tecno, 5 laptops, smartwatches, AirPods, tablet, and plenty damaged phones. CSP Jejeloye talk say investigation show say all these na stolen things. E ask people wey lose phone or laptop make dem waka come RRS Headquarters, Alausa, carry proof make dem fit collect dia property. Lagos CP, Moshood Jimoh, praise RRS for dia quick action and promise say police go continue to dey fight crime and keep Lagos safe.
