Sanwo-Olu Warn Developers Wey Dey Do Illegal Coastal Projects for Lagos – “Una Go Hear Am!”

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday waka go do surprise inspection for some riverine areas like Ibeshe, Kare, Inagbe and Ilashe, where e see say many developers dey build anyhow without regard for government planning rules. As e waka round with him deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, and other government people, Sanwo-Olu vex say plenty of the buildings for the area no follow safety standard at all. E talk say some people don carry their projects pass where dem suppose reach, which fit cause danger later. E promise say officials from Ministry of Physical Planning and Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) go soon check all the illegal buildings to know wetin government go do.

Governor Sanwo-Olu still talk say the government no wan scatter people life anyhow, but dem go find better way to regularize the land, give people legal title, and still preserve the area for tourism and better development. E also commission one new 30-megavolt-ampere electricity station wey go bring light to Ilashe and surrounding communities, as dem don hand am over to EKO Disco make dem connect people to national grid.
