Naija number one tennis player, Daniel Adeleye, once again don make Nigeria proud, beating Uzbekistan 3-1 for Davis Cup World Group II play-offs for Lagos Lawn Tennis Club on Sunday.
Afta di first day tie finish 1-1, Nigeria win di doubles match as Canice Abua and Michael Emmanuel beat Denis Istomin and Khumoyun Sultanov 7-6, 6-4.
For di reverse singles, Adeleye come through again, beat Ilya Ignatov 6-3, 6-4 to seal di victory for Naija.
With dis win, Naija don enter di second round wey go hapun afta US Open, from September 18 to 20, 2026.
