FG Reduce Textbook Assessment and Ranking Fee

Federal Goment don reduce money wey publishers and authors go pay to assess and rank textbooks, as dem dey prepare to start di National Textbook Ranking System.

NERDC Executive Secretary, Salisu Shehu, tok dis one for statement wey dem release on Wednesday for Abuja, say assessment fee don drop from ₦2,000 to ₦1,500 per page, while ranking fee reduce from ₦1 million to ₦750,000 for each textbook.

According to am, all publishers and authors wey wan submit textbooks make dem begin pay di new reduced rates immediately.

NERDC still talk say anybody wey don already pay di old ₦2,000 per page go collect refund for di extra money, and dem go soon announce how di refund process go take happen.
