Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tuoyo Ideh, don open up about wetin happen during NDLEA raid for Proxy Nightclub, Victoria Island, Lagos, wey lead to him arrest with over 100 other people on Sunday, October 26. For video wey he post for Instagram on Monday, Tuoyo talk say he go di club as a promoter after he help clients book table before NDLEA officers and soldiers storm di place. He say, “I never even sit for 30 minutes when I hear ‘Everybody go down!’ I look up see people wey wear black and military men. Dem search me from head to toe, even my socks, but dem no see anything.” He talk say despite say dem no find anything, dem still carry am with other guests go NDLEA office for Ikoyi, and dem no gree release anybody. Na di reason why he post online make people know say NDLEA don arrest am for no reason.

Tuoyo narrate say after like 30 to 40 minutes, one woman point at am for NDLEA office, and na so about five officers rush am, slap and beat am, shouting “Na you post abi?” He say dem carry am outside, order am to roll for ground and begin beat am with stick, kick and slap am till he almost faint. According to am, one female officer later stop di beating but still say make he do frog jump even though he dey pain seriously. He show bruises for him hand, thigh and back, say he later go hospital. For di caption of him video, Tuoyo write say, “Nigeria finally happen to me. I no fit stand or lie down well. Di NDLEA officers beat me like criminal and di pain no be small. We dey live for country wey no respect human right or freedom of speech.” As at di time of this report, NDLEA never respond to di allegation.
