According to the latest numbers wey INEC post for dem social media handle early Tuesday, the number of people wey don do pre-online registration don reach 5,385,060, while physical registration stand for 764,695 as of September 21. Out of the 5,385,060 online registrations wey dem record for Week 5, na 2,799,844 na women, 2,585,216 na men, and 3,604,668 be youths between age 18 to 34. Also, 1,354,274 of dem be students. The statistic also show say 114,713 of the people wey register online na Persons Living with Disabilities (PWD). “For the physical registration wey stand at 764,695 as total number of people wey don complete registration as of the end of Week 4, the data show say 418,750 na women, while 345,945 na men,” INEC talk. “Also, 565,927 out of the number na youths between age 18 to 34, while 279,172 be students and 10,838 be Persons Living with Disabilities,” dem add.
As dem break down the online registration figures, Osun State dey top with 578,904 registrants (10.75%), followed by Borno with 561,666 (10.43%), and Lagos come third with 530,180 (9.85%). For the bottom of the table, Enugu State get the lowest number of online registration with just 2,931 (0.05%), followed by Abia with 4,608 (0.09%), and Edo with 9,670 (0.18%).
