Abdulhafiz Toriola, during monthly stakeholders meeting for Sir Michael Otedola Housing Estate, Epe. Dem talk say allottees wey no pay facility maintenance fees and insurance premiums or wey dey do unauthorised structural changes for dia houses go face sanctions and fit lose dia allocations. People wey never physically collect dia apartments fit also lose dem allocation because government wan make sure say real people wey need house benefit, no be speculators.
Engr. Toriola talk say dem dey work with NDLEA and other security agencies to find residents wey dey use or sell banned drugs inside estates. Anybody wey lease or rent house to drug users, internet fraudsters, or bad characters, once dem confirm am, dem go remove dia allocation sharp sharp. Residents dem dey urged to dey pay fees on time to support security, waste management, street light, and other important services wey go keep estates safe and clean. Dem also encouraged everybody to report any suspicious movement through ministry channels. Meanwhile, government dey work with private partners to bring alternative power solutions to reduce maintenance cost plus dey fix roads and electricity for estates like CHOIS City and Sir Michael Otedola Housing Estate. Residents supposed dey watch and support these projects to make estate better.
