FG Beg Doctors Make Dem End Strike, Promise Full Payment

Federal Government don beg Resident Doctors wey dey on strike make dem return back to work as negotiation still dey go on to settle all di wahala wey dem get once and for all. Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako, talk say President Bola Tinubu don order make dem do everything wey go make di doctors return to dia duty post. He talk say di government don already pay 66% of di salary arrears wey dem owe di doctors and di remaining 33% go clear within 72 hours. He also announce say di Ministry don set up Task Force to monitor service delivery for federal hospitals make di strike no cause major wahala. Salako still talk say government dey work to end di confusion wey dey happen for health sector where different unions dey do separate negotiation instead of one joint agreement.

But di Resident Doctors still dey insist say dem no go end di strike until di government meet all dia 19-point demand. NARD leaders, Dr. Mohammad Usman Suleiman and Dr. Shuaibu Ibrahim, talk say even though government don talk say dem release over ₦30 billion for arrears, doctors only collect small part from di money. Dem accuse di Ministry of Health of painting fake picture give di public and di President, say di truth be say most of dia grievances never still addressed. Dem also talk say until government fulfill all di promises wey dem make, di strike go continue.
