EFCC don declare former Minister of Petroleum Resources and former Bayelsa Governor Timipre Sylva wanted. Di Commission, through spokesperson Dele Oyewale, talk say Sylva dey wanted for alleged conspiracy and dishonest conversion of $14,859,257. Di money na part of funds wey Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) inject for Atlantic International Refinery and Petrochemical Limited to build refinery.

EFCC yarn say dem don secure arrest warrant for Sylva from Federal High Court, Lagos on November 6, 2025, granted by Justice D. I. Dipeolu, wey talk say “order dey make warrant wey go allow applicant or any EFCC officer, police or law enforcement officer arrest di respondent make dem appear before Commission to answer di criminal offence wey dem alleged commit.” EFCC also urge anybody wey get information on Sylva to contact any zonal directorate, nearest police station or security agency.
