Lagos Teach Corps Members How To Handle Emergency

Lagos State Government, through di Ministry of Youth and Social Development, don organise Year 2025 vocational training, security, safety and emergency preparedness for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members, to give dem di knowledge and skills wey dem need to survive any kind situation. For di maiden edition of di programme wey hold yesterday for Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mr Mobolaji Ogunlende, talk say, “Di initiative show di government commitment to youth development. E dey in line with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu commitment to youth development.”

Permanent Secretary, Mrs Toyin Oke-Osanyintolu, assure di participants say di ministry go make di programme annual, so dat Corps members go get awareness of everything wey go make dia service year worthwhile. NYSC Coordinator, Mrs Christiana Salmwang, praise di state government for putting corps members’ welfare and security first. Representatives from Rapid Response Squad, Command and Control Centre, Fire and Rescue Service, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and Lagos State Aids Control Agency take di participants through different sessions to give dem knowledge and skills in security awareness and safety preparedness.
