Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, don reaffirm say im administration dey committed to make business environment better for di state, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Di governor yarn dis one yesterday during di closing ceremony of di 2025 Lagos International Trade Fair wey happen for Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island. Sanwo-Olu wey Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, represent, yarn say im government don put eye for infrastructure development plus dey make business-friendly policies to support enterprise growth. E highlight big projects like di Lekki Free Trade Zone, di Blue and Red rail lines, plus ongoing road expansions as key drivers wey fit attract investment and boost economic competitiveness. E still yarn say partnership wey dem get with Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) don help close di gap between policy formulation and private-sector needs, while Lagos GDP don grow almost 50 per cent for di last five years, pass di economies of more than 40 African countries. Di governor add say government go continue to make regulatory processes simple with digital one-stop platforms for business registration and approvals, plus e go still invest for roads, rail, logistics, power, and intensify support for MSMEs wey na di backbone of di state economy, while urging stakeholders make dem collaborate to build value and explore opportunities for Africa and globally.
