Di project dey register schools for National Safe Schools Response and Coordination Centre platform, currently 11,550 schools dey registered. Project wey start 2014 after Chibok abduction, dey move forward, but technological upgrades like surveillance drones and command systems still need more funding. Di centre dey also focus on early-warning systems, better command hubs across geopolitical zones, and training of school guards and vigilantes. Assistant Commandant General Emmanuel Ocheja and Commandant General Prof. Ahmed Audi highlight importance of continued funding and state government role to make sure schools safe by 2026, stressing say di future of di children and di success of di Safe School initiative dey depend on sustained support.
