Akobundu talk say National Assembly go continue to push inter-agency collaboration among security agencies, and promise say di resources wey needed to bring South-East back to peace, progress and prosperity go dey properly appropriated and released as e due. E thank security agencies, religious leaders, traditional rulers, media and other stakeholders for dia efforts, and salute frontline officers as “our greatest assets and heroes” for di war against extremism and criminality.

Akobundu explain say di Senate decide to organise di National Security Summit to tackle Nigeria security wahala head-on, and give Nigerians, especially those wey dey directly affected, chance to contribute solutions to di lingering insecurity.
