Military Don Handover 24 Rescued Kebbi Schoolgirls To Governor Idris

Twenty-four students wey dey Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School (GGCSS) Maga, wey bandits kidnap last week, don dey rescued and military don formally hand dem over to Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris. Di handover happen for Tuesday night for Birnin Kebbi and na Major General W. B. Idris, Theatre Commander, do am following instruction from Minister of State for Defence, Muhammad Bello Matawalle. Major General Idris talk say military move sharp after di abduction, dem mobilise troops, chase di bandits, and Magiga Forest na where dem dey hold di girls. Di area dem cordon, block all entry and exit points. E add say President Bola Ahmed Tinubu direct Minister of State for Defence make e relocate go Kebbi to make sure say all di kidnapped schoolgirls return safe. All di 24 girls dey alive, no injury, no death.

Major General Idris suggest make di girls do full medical checkup to know di condition of dia health. E also carry appreciation from Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff to Kebbi State Government, Minister of State for Defence, and all di security agencies wey help for di rescue. Governor Idris thank Almighty God and President Tinubu for using full government machinery run di operation. E hail di military, security agencies, and Minister of State for Defence for dia effort. E assure say di girls go get full medical check before dem go back to dia families.
