FG Make Pre-Employment Drug Test Mandatory For All Public Service Workers

Di federal government don approve say all prospective workers for Nigerian public service must do drug test before dem fit get job, di office of di secretary to di government of di federation (OSGF) announced in a service-wide circular dis week.

According to director of information and public relations for OSGF,  Segun Imohiosen, di move na to curb rising drug abuse and protect national productivity and security.

Di circular, wey target all permanent secretaries and heads of ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAS) across Nigeria, direct dem to make drug testing mandatory during recruitment.

Imohiosen added say MDAS go dey work with di National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to carry out di tests according to established standards and procedures.
