Transmission Company of Naija (TCN) don legally suspend dia operations for Ikeja-West–Osogbo 330kV line afta heavy rainstorm wey happen on Thursday, 16 April 2026.
TCN Public Affairs General Manager, Ndidi Mbah, tuk am for statement wey dem release on Sunday say di rain cause fault wey make di line trip around 14.9km from Ikeja West (Ayobo) side.
She explain say inspection show say Tower 515 collapse for middle as di storm strong pass am.
TCN say dem don begin remove di damaged parts and dey mobilise workers and materials to rebuild di tower and restore power.
