Federal Gorment Go Build Autism Centres Across Nigeria

Di Federal Gorment announce plan to establish autism centres across di six geopolitical zones of Nigeria to improve care for children wit developmental conditions and reduce medical trips abroad.
Di Minister of Education, Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa, make di announcement during one stakeholders’ engagement, im say gorment go also expand specialist training for Audiology, Speech and Language Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.
Alausa explain say di initiative go help train more professionals to improve diagnosis, therapy, rehabilitation and inclusive education for children wey dey live with autism, ADHD and related conditions across Nigeria.
Im add say di number of universities wey offer di specialised programmes don increase from about four to nearly 16, and gorment go encourage more institutions to join di programme nationwide.
