Federal Gornment don release CATA for lecturers across federal universities, polytechnics and colleges of education, covering January to August 2026.
Education Minister, Dr Tunji Alausa, announce dis on Wednesday for Abuja after e inaugurate di Ministerial Committee on Accreditation, saying di payment follow di 2025 agreement between FG and ASUU.
Di allowance dey help academic workers buy tools and materials wey dem need for teaching, research and other academic work.
Alausa say di full eight-month payment don reach all federal universities, polytechnics and colleges of education, as government fulfil di agreement with academic workers.
