Niger State Government don confirm di incident and talk say e don advise all boarding schools and construction works for di area make dem shut down. Government dey shocked say di boarding school don open again.

Secretary to di Niger State Government, Alhaji Abubakar Usman, talk say dem don receive intelligence report wey show say threat don rise for parts of Niger North Senatorial District and dem don issue clear directive to suspend all construction works and close all boarding schools for di area as precaution. Government talk say: “Security agencies don start full-scale investigation and search-and-rescue operation to bring back di pupils safely. E dey unfortunate say St Mary’s School open without notifying government, expose pupils and staff to avoidable risk.”
