Bandits Strike Kwara Community, Kidnap 11 Residents

Bandits don attack Isapa community for Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, kidnap 11 residents. Di gunmen wey pass 20 enter di community on Monday with large herd of cattle, dey fire shots anyhow. One elderly woman reportedly hit by stray bullet. A community leader, wey wan remain anonymous, confirm say 11 people don abduct, seven of dem na from di same family. Di kidnapped include pregnant woman, two nursing mothers, and small pikin dem. Di abducted people don been identified as Talatu Kabiru (20), Magaji (6), Kande (5), Hadiza (10), Mariam (6), Saima (5), housewife Habibat, pregnant woman Fatima Yusufu, Sarah Sunday (22), nursing mother Lami Fidelis (23) and another nursing mother Haja Na Allah. Eyewitness talk say di attackers waka through parts of di town, leave bullet holes for walls and doors, while AK-47 shells scatter for ground after dem flee. Police never give official statement yet.

Dis latest attack come two weeks after gunmen strike Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) for Eruku, same LGA, kidnap 38 members and reportedly kill some worshippers. Eyewitness report say di attackers enter di church during meeting, open fire and make people run for cover. Three worshippers die on di spot before di assailants carry away undetermined number of people, including di pastor. Di attackers escape through bush paths wey connect Eruku to neighbouring communities, leave residents for panic and confusion.
