Customs Hand Over 399 Seized Rifles To NSA

Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, don hand over more dan 399 seized rifles to di office of National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, as part of efforts to stop illegal arms movement for di country.

Customs boss, Adewale Adeniyi, talk on Monday say di service don finish examination of di arms wey dem seize for Tincan Island Port, where dem find 399 fully assembled Jojef firearms plus plenty rifle parts.

Adeniyi warn say criminal networks fit try use Nigeria borders, ports and airports to move prohibited items into di country as di next general elections dey approach.
