FG Don Set Target Say By 2030, 95% Nigerians Go Sabi Digital Work

Our goal na to make sure say 95 percent of Nigerians sabi digital by 2030. By 2027, we wan train and empower 30 million Nigerians. “Right now, for every local government for Nigeria, we get Digital Literacy Champions wey dey train people. Our portal too dey show live update of how many Nigerians we don train so far,” he add. He still yan say NITDA join hand with Ministry of Education and don put digital literacy inside national curriculum for all levels of education. “Recently, dem officially add digital literacy as part of curriculum for primary, secondary and tertiary schools. For Nasarawa State University, for example, dem don put digital literacy inside General Studies programme. By the time students finish their first year, Cisco go certify dem, so dem fit take part for digital economy,” he explain. NITDA oga praise Tech4Dev for their partnership, call Digital for All Challenge “shared vision”. “We believe say digital literacy na new currency for 21st century. With correct digital skills, we dey build foundation for innovation, job creation and better future.
