For Twitter, the governor talk say: “Two years ago, we take bold step to launch Lagos Rail Mass Transit Blue Line. Today, as I look back, I dey full of pride and thankfulness. For these two years, Blue Line don carry pass five million passengers well well, and no accident happen. Trains dey run every ten minutes, dey do over 90 trips daily. Journey wey before dey take long don quick and easy now.

These achievements show say if we work hard and with purpose, we fit build system wey really serve people. I want thank una for the trust and support wey una don show. This project na for all of us, and na una hope for better Lagos dey push progress. To celebrate the two years, I dey happy to announce say fare for Blue Line go drop by 50% tomorrow, Thursday, September 4, 2025.
