For Yoruba, Oba talk say, “My people don send message go Mr President. Mr President, dem talk say the creation of Ibadan State na their priority.” Governor Makinde talk for the ceremony say, the coming of Ladoja as 44th traditional ruler for ancient city na big pride for Ibadan people. E talk, “E be big honour to dey celebrate the coronation and Staff of Office give His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adewolu Ladoja, as 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland. The happiness wey full Ibadan today show say we dey respect our tradition well well. The way Olubadan throne take dey handed down now dey peaceful and no wahala dey, and na big pride be that for us all. I dey happy with the Olubadan, the Ibadan Council of Chiefs, and all people of Ibadanland. I dey pray say the reign of Oba Adewolu Ladoja go bring peace, unity, and progress for Ibadanland and Oyo State as whole.”

The coronation ceremony still attract big people like Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III; former Kano State Governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso; former Osun State Governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola; former Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi; and former Cross River State Governor, Donald Duke.
