Lagos State Govo, Babajide Sanwo-Olu don hail Lagos State University as di university with most application for Naija afta di school receive 84,426 applications for 2026 UTME.

According to Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board figures, University of Lagos come second with 78,240 applicants, while Obafemi Awolowo University get 60,370 applications.

University of Ibadan and University of Benin compete top five with 58,895 and 55,425 applicants respectively.
