Di Federal Government don give green light make dem open di Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway small time after one truck accident wey happen for Chisco area, Lekki on Monday scatter traffic for di whole area. Dis one dey inside statement wey di Lagos State Ministry of Transportation drop, wey talk say di Federal Ministry of Works don approve make motorists use di road until dem clear di wahala for di main express. Di Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, beg motorists make dem calm down and exercise patience as dem dey work to remove di accident obstruction.

Di temporary opening of di Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway go help reduce traffic jam and make movement easy for Lekki people. Di Lagos-Calabar road go run from Lagos reach Calabar for Cross River State, and di Lagos section get two parts, Section 1 na six-lane road from Ahmadu Bello Way reach Eleko Village, wey President Bola Tinubu open on May 31, 2025, though e never fully complete. Section 1 cost N1.068 trillion with 30% don already pay by August 2025, while Section 2 wey dey link Lekki Deep Seaport and Dangote Refinery still dey build and e go cost N1.6 trillion.
