Lagos Deny FESTAC Demolition, Warn Residents Make Dem Get Permits

Lagos State Government don start fresh campaign to bring order, transparency, and inclusiveness for how dem dey do urban planning and development. Dem dey do public talks, clarify tins, and sensitise people to clear confusion about demolition wahala, especially for FESTAC Town where dem deny say dem get anything to do with recent demolitions. Commissioner for Physical Planning, Dr. Oluyinka Olumide, talk say Lagos dey follow proper process, including notice and talk with people before any demolition. E warn say any agency wey wan demolish for Lagos must first talk with Ministry and get permission. Dem also hold meeting for Surulere about new cemetery plan to get community input, with promise say no final decision go happen until all concerns sorted.
