Lagos State Consumer Protection (LASCOPA) Agency don warn residents make dem dey careful when dem dey buy palm oil, as people don dey use more ways to mix fake things inside am.
Di agency give di warning on Monday after Dr Nurah Oseni from Auchi Polytechnic present research on palm oil adulteration for Lagos State Food Safety Conference and Exhibition 2026.
Oseni say palm oil easy to spoil because plenty people dey buy am, as many pipo believe say deep-red colour mean say di oil good.
She also tok say Lagos government check market wella wella a di state to stop unsafe and poor-quality products from reaching consumers.
