Lagos, Osun, Ogun Dey Top for Online Voter Registration Table

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) don release new story say Osun, Lagos, and Ogun state dey top for online Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) wey start ahead of 2027 general election. Osun carry first with 393,269 people wey don register, na 28.51% of everybody wey don sign up. Lagos come second with 222,205 (16.11%), and Ogun land third with 132,823 (9.63%). FCT sef join for top list with 107,682 (7.81%). But South East states no too show face. Ebonyi get only 261 people, Imo 481, Enugu 484, and Abia try small with 772. Altogether, South East gather just 1,998 people, wey be the lowest for the whole country.

INEC National Commissioner, Sam Olumekun, talk say 1,379,342 Nigerians don register online within just one week since the exercise start on Monday, 18th August 2025. Di breakdown show say more women don register pass men 717,856 na female (52.04%) while 661,846 na male (47.96%). Most of the people wey register na young people between 18 to 34 years, dem be 860,286 (62.37%). Students full ground too with 374,534 (27.15%) and people wey get disability reach 27,089 (1.96%). INEC talk say dem go continue to dey update people every week as registration dey go on.
