National Economic Reforms: FG, Private Sector Don Start Talk Series For Lagos

Federal Government don hold di first edition of Government-Private Sector Dialogue Series (GPS) through di Ministry of Finance to strengthen di ongoing reform policies. Di event wey happen for Radisson Blu, Ikeja, Lagos, na part of government effort to align national economic reforms with wetin dey happen for everyday business. Minister of State for Finance, Doris Uzoka-Anite, yarn say FG dey determined to be more “present, responsive, and accountable”. She talk say policy no suppose be something wey dem write for people, but something wey dem go write with dem. She add say dis GPS series na di beginning of better and continuous talk between policymakers and private sector people for Nigeria.

Uzoka-Anite still talk say di GPS na platform wey go allow entrepreneurs, innovators, and community leaders make their voice count for government priority. “We don move from survival mode go influence mode. Government go design policy, business go activate productivity, and together, we go build prosperity,” she talk. Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, wey join di session, hail di initiative and promise full federal support. He talk say “dialogue, timing, and consultation na di key to effective reform,” as he announce digital projects like di National Single Window Project wey go make trade easy and reduce import/export cost. Market leaders wey attend di event happy wella, say na di first time in decades wey government and traders dey reason together genuinely.
