Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, wey represent Kogi Central, don deny reports say she apologize to the Senate on top the matter wey make dem suspend her.
Akpoti-Uduaghan talk this one for one statement on Monday, where she describe the reports as “false and misleading,” insist say she still dey stand by her position.

“The reports wey talk say I don apologize to the Senate and retract my position na lie. I stand gidigba by my words and actions and I never issue any apology to the Senate or anybody for this matter,” she talk.

She criticise the people wey dey spread the fake reports, accuse dem say dem wan twist the truth and mislead the public.
The senator, wey dem suspend after she get disagreement with Senate leadership, talk say she still dey committed to defend the rights of her people. She even claim say some people dey try use fake statements to manipulate public opinion.

“I dey urge the public make dem no believe these rumours and publications because dem no represent wetin I stand for. My commitment na to truth, justice, and the people wey I dey represent.”

She still express concern about wetin she call planned effort to silence her voice for the National Assembly.
She talk say, “This no be just about me; e dey concern the integrity of our democracy. I no go allow dem intimidate or force me submit through fake narratives.”

She beg Nigerians make dem dey careful about misinformation and talk say any official statement from her go only come from her verified channels.
“I appreciate the support and solidarity of my people. Make una no worry, I go continue to fight for wetin dey right and just.”

People don dey call say make dem recall Akpoti-Uduaghan after her suspension from the Senate.
The push to recall her start after her suspension, wey follow one serious dispute with Senate President Godswill Akpabio on top seating arrangements.
She even accuse Akpabio of sexual harassment and don carry her matter go local and foreign media and the United Nations Inter-Parliamentary Union.

Earlier, the Independent National Electoral Commission talk say dem don receive the petition wey dey seek the recall process of Akpoti-Uduaghan as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The Secretary to the commission, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, collect the petition on Monday.
