Di report, “The Nigerian Child 2025,” wey our correspondent get on Sunday, reveal say systemic gaps for infrastructure, policy and emergency response dey leave children dangerously exposed anytime disaster strike. Nigeria dey face growing climate wahala like floods, droughts, desertification and extreme heat, and all dis environmental pressure dey affect children wey be one of di most vulnerable groups. Di report talk say family incomes dey collapse under these pressures, and na children dey pay di price through malnutrition, missed schooling and sickness. Girls dey especially affected as dem dey spend hours to fetch water and care for siblings, affecting dia education and well-being.
