NNPC Executive Vice President for Gas, Power and New Energy, Olalekan Ogunleye, tok dis one yesterday, Monday, September 14, 2026, for di 2026 Gas Technology and Exhibition Conference, GASTECH, for Bangkok, Thailand.
Ogunleye say Nigeria get over 215 trillion cubic feet of proven gas reserves, and di country dey use am to support local industries and expand gas export.
E add say NNPC dey carry out Gas Master Plan wey go help move Naija gas reserves from 215 trillion cubic feet to over 600 trillion cubic feet, stressing say gas development and monetisation na business wey suppose bring money.
