Presidential candidate of di Naija Democratic Congress, Peter Obi, don condemn di decision to throw activist Omoyele Sowore inside Kuje Correctional Centre, say dat na big threat to Naija democracy.

Obi make di statement on Tuesday afta a Federal High Court for Abuja on Monday order Sowore’s remand pending the hearing of his application against im earlier bail revocation order.

Di court, wey Justice Mohammed Umar lead, also reject an application asking di judge to step down from di case over alleged bias.

Obi warn say di development fit weaken civic freedom and encourage di use of state institutions to silence opposing voices if authorities no handle am carefully.
