Ondo State Police Command don rescue one 4-year-old girl wey child traffickers allegedly sell for ₦3.7 million as part of a big trafficking network wey dey operate for Ondo, Delta, and Anambra states. Police spokesperson, SP Ayanlade Olayinka, call di rescue and bust of di syndicate “a major breakthrough” for di fight against human trafficking. Di matter start when one man, Sunday Kingsley from Alagbaka Extension, Akure, report say him 4-year-old daughter, Jesinta, disappear while she dey with her mama, Sunday Happiness. Police investigate di matter, carry some suspects go Family Magistrate Court, and some of dem first go prison before dem later get bail.

Di real breakthrough come when Kingsley see di missing pikin for Asaba, Delta State. Police Gender Desk Team quickly act, recover di girl and return her to her family safely. During di rescue, dem arrest 30-year-old Amaka Chukwuemeka, wey talk say na she buy di pikin for ₦3.7 million. She also mention other people wey join hand for di deal, including those wey use fake adoption papers. More arrests later happen, and police talk say dem don uncover one well-organized trafficking gang wey dey spread across different states. SP Olayinka talk say investigation still dey go on to catch everybody wey join for di crime. “Ondo State no go ever be safe place for child traffickers or any kind criminal group,” he talk.
