Polytechnic Workers Give Federal Government 21 Days Notice To Pay Money Wey Dem Never Pay

Members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics don give Federal Government fresh 21 days ultimatum to settle all the wahala with workers or dem go start nationwide strike. The ultimatum wey start from August 27, 2025, dey come from the communique wey dem issue at the end of the association 77th General Executive Council Meeting wey hold for Audu Bako College of Agriculture, Danbatta, Kano State. The workers demand make government release new Scheme of Service, constitution of the renegotiation of 2010 agreement committee, pay all arrears wey dem dey owe, and release the Needs Assessment Funds for 2023, 2024, and 2025. Dem vex say government no dey sincere with how dem dey handle the matter.
The statement wey the association President, Philip Ogunsipe and National Secretary, Shehu Gaya sign talk say government just dey do mouth for all the agreements wey dem don reach. The union discuss matter for three days and talk say dem no happy with how government dey treat education sector. Dem talk say dem try resolve the matter peacefully but government no take am serious. So, dem demand make government take action for the matter within 21 days from August 27, 2025, or else dem go gree to stop work for whole Nigeria.
