Sanwo-Olu No Go Leave Any Project Half – Lagos Government

Di Lagos State Government don assure Lagosians say Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu no go leave any project half before him tenure end for 2027. Di Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Gbenga Omotoso, talk dis one on Friday during media chat with journalists. He list some of di major projects wey Sanwo-Olu administration don start,  like di 150-bed Massey Street Children’s Hospital, di Green Rail Line, di Ojo General Hospital and di biggest food hub for sub-Saharan Africa wey fit feed five million people for at least three months if famine happen. Omotoso emphasize say Governor Sanwo-Olu and him deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, dey committed to make sure say no project go waste. He talk say di new Massey Hospital almost done and di Opebi-Mende Link Bridge go ready before year end. According to am, di Massey project wey Sanwo-Olu start for 2021 go replace di old colonial hospital wey don dey since 1914. He talk say na only finishing touches remain and di hospital go open by next year, same as di new Ojo General Hospital wey construction dey progress well.

Omotoso still talk say di new food hub wey don already complete go open soon,  maybe later dis year or early next year,  and e be di largest for sub-Saharan Africa. He explain say di hub fit store plenty food and if famine or price wahala show face, di government fit release food from di hub to calm market prices. Di commissioner talk say other projects like new roads and rail lines go also finish before 2027. He mention di Blue Line and Red Line Rail second phase wey work dey go on, and di Green Rail Line wey meeting dey happen on top am already. Omotoso assure say di government go show clear progress, if not full completion, before Sanwo-Olu and him team leave office. In him words, “Nothing wey we start go remain uncompleted.”
