Di Quality Assurance and SERVICOM Unit for University of Lagos (UNILAG) don yan say dem go launch 10 emergency hotlines wey students and staff fit use anytime wahala show face for campus. Prof. Olufemi Saibu wey be di Director of di unit yarn dis one on Tuesday during press briefing to mark di 2025 International Customer Service Week (ICSW) for UNILAG, Akoka. Di hotlines na strategic move to make sure communication dey sharp during emergencies, and dem still go launch Closed User Group (CUG) phone links for all di faculties to make sure response to service wahala quick well-well.
Prof. Saibu still talk say dem don dey monitor lectures, exams, and lab sessions better, wey don lead to beta punctuality and staff-student engagement. For di last semester alone, dem monitor 198 exams across faculties, and also dey check lecture facilities and lab equipment to raise academic standard. As part of ICSW celebration wey get di theme “Mission Possible,” dem go do awareness campaign, student games, stakeholders’ forum and give out 44 awards to students and staff, beta pass last year wey na only 34 awards dem give. Since 2019, UNILAG don dey use this week celebrate excellence and service delivery globally.
