Police go carry Lagos NURTW official ‘Shamelon’ go court for murder and beating case

Di Lagos State Police Command don talk say dem go soon carry 55-year-old National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) official, Samsideen Oladiti wey people sabi as Shamelon, go court because of wetin dem say e do for two violent cases wey happen for Lagos Island. According to wetin police talk, Oladiti dey under investigation for State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for Panti-Yaba, based on murder and serious beating wey cause heavy injury. Police report talk say on September 17, 2025, around 3:00 p.m., Oladiti allegedly attack one dispatch rider for Lagos Island. Dem say e use helmet and im bare hand beat di rider well-well. Di victim suffer serious injury, dem rush am go hospital, put am for oxygen, and till now e still dey receive treatment.
Just di next day, September 18, another person report say Oladiti still get hand for one fight wey happen earlier on August 28, 2025. For dat one, dem talk say e use one metallic ring beat another man for head and face many times. Even though dem treat di man, di injury bad reach say e later die on September 17. Dem don carry im body go mortuary dey wait autopsy. Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, wey go di scene of di crime, assure people say Oladiti dey for police custody and dem go carry am go court once dem finish their investigation. Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, still confirm di matter and talk say dem go charge Oladiti go court sharp-sharp once everything for investigation don complete.
