Lagos State University (LASU) don yan say di talk wey dey go round say dem don shift all courses go online na lie. Di university clarify say na only small fraction of courses dey affected 197 courses out of 4,095 wey dem dey offer, mostly big lectures wey get more than 400 students. Di school talk say di move na part of dia push to digitise learning, solve space wahala for lecture halls, and improve quality for big classes. Dem also yan say tutorials, seminars, labs, and small courses go still dey face-to-face, and students go continue dey enjoy campus life with access to library, sports, medical, and all di normal facilities.
LASU further explain say di blended learning policy dey in line with NUC and global best practices, and dem don upgrade campus Wi-Fi, put ICT hubs, and improve power supply so students no go face wahala. Vice-Chancellor, Prof Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, talk say di decision na data-driven and e dey meant to prepare students for digital world. Di management advise students and parents to dey follow official channels for correct info and make dem no dey fear say di university dey retreat; na forward-looking move to make LASU future-ready, inclusive, and better for everybody.
