Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service tuk say fire wey gut Great Nigeria Building for Balogun Market, Lagos Island, don kill five people, after dem recover two more bodies from di rubbles on Sunday.

According to di agency Controller General, Margret Adeseye, another fire break out Monday evening for Arena Market, Bolade area of Oshodi, Lagos State.

She say dem receive distress call around 5:50pm and immediately deploy fire fighters, wey reach di scene within five minutes to stop di fire from spreading.

Adeseye explain say di fire burn five 40-foot container shops arranged in two rows, na why di total number of shops wey di fire affect come reach ten.
