Di National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) don suspend dia planned nationwide strike say negotiation with Federal Government dey make progress.
Di decision come during virtual Emergency National Executive Council (E-NEC) meeting wey dem hold on Sunday, to review status of dia demands and recent developments.
NARD Secretary-General, Dr Shuaibu Ibrahim, tuk say di suspension dey strategic and conditional, and e allow NEC check tangible progress for next meeting wey go start on 25 January 2026.
Di suspension follow direct intervention by Vice President Kashim Shettima on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as part of effort to resolve di industrial dispute peacefully.
