National Inland Waterways Authority don intensify dia safety awareness campaign for Lagos waterways to reduce boat accidents and make sure say zero askident hapun for river.
Lagos Area Manager, Sarat Braimah, talk dis one when she receive members of Shipping Correspondents Association of Nigeria 2026 Dockworkers’ Day Committee for her office.
She explain say di campaign dey follow order from acting NIWA MD, Yusuf Girei, wey don put waterways users’ safety as top priority.
She add say dem don direct make sensitisation increase so boat operators, passengers and other stakeholders go follow safety rules wella.
