Baba Govo of di Central Bank of Nigeria and members of di Monetary Policy Committee, Olayemi Cardoso don warn say election spending cause inflation gbege.

Di warning come from MPC personal statements released after dia 304th meeting wey hold on February 23 and 24, 2026, wia dem reduce Monetary Policy Rate from 27 percent to 26.5 percent.
