Lagos Gornment don renew promise to make treatment safer for people wey get non-communicable diseases, as experts dey call for stronger regulation and better healthcare system.
Special Adviser to Gofnor on Health, Dr Kemi Ogunyemi, tok say people wey dey live with NCDs need safe, effective and consistent care throughout dia lifetime, adding say patient safety must dey inside every stage of healthcare delivery.
Other health stakeholders, including Lagos State Ministry of Health and HEFAMAA, call for stronger collaboration, reliable medicines and equipment, competent health workers and meaningful patient participation, as HEFAMAA marks 20 years of regulating healthcare standards and safety for Lagos.
