LASODA Support Pwds With Cash

Di Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs (LASODA) don show say dem still dey committed to di welfare of persons with disabilities (PWDs) as dem run two-day cash support programme on October 13 and 14, 2025, for dia head office for Lagos. Mr. Hezekiah Akinbule, Head of Finance and Accounts, yarn on behalf of LASODA GM, Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal, say di N100,000 wey each beneficiary collect na Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu way of show say government still dey for dem. “E no go solve all una problems, but e show say government care and una never dey forgotten,” Akinbule talk. Dem empower plenty people from different disability clusters, including visually impaired folks like Akanbi Opayemi Blessing, Omo Tola Owolabi, and Gift Blessing Igwe. One of di beneficiaries, Shonibare Adenike, follow collect too. Akinbule hail all di beneficiaries for dia resilience and beg dem make dem use di money well to take better dia life. He still assure say LASODA go continue to push for inclusion, empowerment and equal opportunity for all PWDs for Lagos. Di two-day programme na part of LASODA bigger mission to carry out Lagos State Special People’s Law and make sure say people with disability fit live well, contribute, and enjoy better life inside di state.
