LAWMA don warn Lagos residents say anybody wey buy goods from illegal roadside traders fit face arrest and prosecution, as enforcement go start next week.
LAWMA Managing Director, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, give di warning on Tuesday for di authority headquarters for Lagos, saying di move na to stop illegal trading, waste dumping and blockage of public spaces.
E say residents wey buy from traders for roads, medians, walkways and setbacks fit face di same punishment as di traders under Lagos environmental law.
Gbadegesin say anybody wey court find guilty fit pay N90,000 fine, spend six months for prison or face both punishment, because illegal trading dey cause waste, block drainage and create health risks.
