KNN don condemn di alleged blocking of Peter Obi convoy for Makurdi-Gboko Road as “barbaric, dangerous and totally unacceptable” while e dey travel go Yelwata to sympathise with victims of recent attacks.

Videos wey dey circulate online show some youths carrying sticks and blocking di road, forcing Obi convoy to stop as di former Anambra State gofnor dey head to di community.

Obi allege say an aide to Benue Gofnor Hyacinth Alia lead di youths, but di Benue State Gornment deny knowledge of di visit and reject any claim of gornment involvement, calling di allegation unfounded.

KNN South-East Coordinator, Dr Ukpai Iro Ukpai, call on security agencies to investigate di incident, identify di people behind di obstruction and prosecute anybody wey dem find culpable, saying nothing must happen to Obi or any presidential candidate.
