Lagos Speaker Obasa Talk About Nigeria-China Military Partnership

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, don talk say the military partnership between Nigeria and China don dey produce better results already. He explain say the cooperation, wey include military training and local arms production, dey help Nigeria tackle some of the major security challenges wey the country dey face. Obasa talk this one during the 76th anniversary celebration of the People’s Republic of China for Lagos. According to am, Nigeria don benefit well-well from the bilateral relationship with China. “China help Nigeria with local arms production and military training, and this support don already help improve security not just for Nigeria but also for other African countries,” he talk.

Obasa also talk say China don support serious infrastructure development for Lagos. “Lagos don witness serious growth through Chinese investment for big projects like roads, bridges and railway systems. All these dey boost our economy and make society better,” he add. He come remind people about the recent meeting between President Xi Jinping and President Bola Tinubu, where both leaders hold deep discussion about China-Nigeria relations and other international matters. “Dem agree say both countries dey at a new historical starting point as important representatives of big developing nations and emerging economies. Dem also agree to strengthen their strategic cooperation to move China-Africa relations forward for this new era,” Obasa talk.
