Lagos police command talk say normalcy don fully return for Third Mainland Bridge after residents protest over demolition of buildings for Oworo area. Di protesters block di bridge near Iyana Oworo Bus Stop, wey make movement from island to mainland stop. Police commissioner, Olohundare Jimoh, waka go di scene with Mobile Police Force, Tactical Units, and Police Mobile Force personnel. Di commissioner come so to try settle matter, calm crowd, and protect people and property. CP Jimoh talk with protesters to understand wetin dey worry dem and beg dem make dem clear di bridge.

But protesters no gree move, so road still block and commuters suffer, including sick people wey dey trapped and need urgent medical help. To protect public safety and avoid lawlessness, CP Jimoh direct say make dem use small force to scatter crowd. Dem tear down barricades wey protesters put, clear di road, and make traffic flow again without any life lost.

Police command assure public say dem dey neutral and ready to maintain law and order for state. Dem ask residents to use lawful way to complain and promise say police go continue to protect everybody’s rights.
